Accommodations in Thailand are really cheap, so you can find something for any budget. Thus, so many people choose to live or retire here in Thailand because of the friendly accommodation and property prices. So have a look at our favorite places in Koh Samui.
Budget accommodation in Koh Samui
Ananas hostel is such a great place to connect with like-minded travelers. The owner of the hostel is a master of it all! You probably know the saying that you cannot master all the things in the world, but this gorgeous lady can. She manages the hostel, cooks, books tours, takes care of her family! Amazing, the place is clean and cozy. It has a pool and costs only EUR 12 ($14) per night for 2 people.
In Home In you get an apartment with terrace for EUR 18 ($20) and a deluxe apartment with A HOT TUB for EUR 25 ($29). That is out of this world. The apartments are spacious, have private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs. This hotel is more like a home that has been converted into a hotel. It gives the Home In such a homey feel, I guess, that was the owner’s intention.
This place is a great budget option very close to the beach. Villa Giacomelli is a family run business and they can arrange tours, taxis, and motorbikes for you anytime. This villa offers an on-site bar with a pool table and an Italian restaurant. One night will set you off EUR 16 ($18) for a double room. However, this place does not have a swimming pool, but the proximity of ocean solves this problem.
Value accommodation in Koh Samui
This place is classic and beautiful. The owners are very kind, so they will be the highlight of your stay. Close to the Lamai Beach and with everything necessary nearby. The pool is clean and the premises are very well kept. The apartments in Wirason Residence come for EUR 36 ($40) per night for 2 people and are very spacious.
This place is something crazy! It has adults only sections if you do not want to share the pool with a bunch of kids. Also, this place provides real celebrity treatment. It is very modern and clean and the rooms are so spacious. Located right on the beach this shiny hotel is definitely overdelivering for its price. A night costs only EUR 37 ($41) for a bungalow for two. But they also have an insane presidential floor which costs EUR 3000 ($3200) and it is completely out of this world. Well, we haven’t seen a more expensive and more luxurious place yet! It is absolutely amazing that they offer these affordable accommodations to allow everyone taste a bit of luxury. And they have a private beach.
