The Philippines Beaches – Photo Story
Beaches of The Philippines are ones of the most beautiful in the world. We spent a month in The Philippines and a fair share of our time was spent by the ocean. Before coming to The Philippines we could not understand how people, who have been there, always praise The Philippines beaches, saying that they are the most beautiful sandy creations of this planet. Well, this photo story shows you what we could not believe, until we saw it with our own eyes.

El Nido, Palawan, The Philippines
El Nido is located on the Palawan island and might be the most touristy location in The Philippines. If you know us, you also know that we always try to avoid tourist flooded places. However, everyone who we know, who has been to El Nido, said that we have to visit! Thus, we being the rebels we are, decided to discover some hidden beaches around El Nido. There are many of those spotted on the map so you just have to rent a motorbike and jump on it to go exploring.
Las Cabañas Beach, El Nido

Spending days by the beach in the Philippines
One of the beaches to visit in the Philippines, El Nido is Las Cabañas Beach. It is commonly known as the Sunset Beach. The beach is located only 20-minute drive away from the El Nido city and can be accessed easily. After that, you just have to walk along the beach, past all the tourists and their fancy beach resorts until you end up on a beach just to yourself.

Sunsets in Philippines are to die for!
This place is a sunset must. No wonder it is called the Sunset Beach. However, to avoid the sunset chaser crowd just stay where you have arrived after passing all the beach resorts. The sunset is as stunning from there, and you will have the place just to yourself. Perhaps some stray beach puppies will join you for the view.
Duli Beach, El Nido
Duli beach is a remote beach, some 45 minutes away from the El Nido town. Just follow the main road to get to Duli Beach. Yet be careful to take the left turn away from the main road at the right time, as the signs are almost non-existent. Just put the beach pin on google maps and once you reach the turn, ask locals for the Duli Beach. Filipinos are always happy to help. The road is very uneven and dusty, so you have to be very careful! As always, consider getting a good travel insurance if you know you will be adventuring around.
You can reach the beach via two roads, first one is a wiser choice, but the second one guarantees a bit of an adventure. There is no actual road on the map so you just have to drive along the coast and look for a small path that seems to lead up to the beach. Once you reach the end of the road you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of a deserted beach for no one but you.

Verde Safari Beach, El Nido
One of the most remote beaches is Verde Safari Beach. It is just past the Duli beach straight along the beachside road. However, the road gets even bumpier and very hard to pass with a basic motorbike. The beach is well worth it, though, as there you will find only a couple of fisherman sailing ashore and perhaps a couple of local kids if you are lucky. It is a great photo spot and perfect for romantic souls.

Let’s cross the sea from The Philippines to Malaysia!
Coron, The Philippines
Another beautiful island close to El Nido. Okay, it is relatively close, as the boat ride takes 7 hours. But trust us, it is well worth the trip. Coron is less touristy than El Nido and has many beautiful beaches. Usually, to reach the beaches in Coron you will have to take a boat or go on a boat trip or two. The central beach in the city is not as spectacular. However, the beaches and small islands around Coron are just breathtaking. Take any of the boat trips offered from A to D or take several of them an explore the secret beauty Coron offers.

Island hopping in Philippines, jumping in crystal clear waters is a must!
There are so many more beaches in The Philippines that are worth a visit, in Bohol, in Cebu, in Siargao, Boracay, and many other places. It is almost impossible to list them all. But if we were you, we would start by exploring Palawan Island and its neighboring islands to get the glimpse of The Philippines beaches.
And if you are into waterfalls, as most of us are, considering visiting Kawasan Falls in Cebu to make your Philippines adventure even more unforgettable!

Seeing the smallest monkey in the world and those lovely chocolate hills was the highlight of my Phiilppine vacation. I love Bohol and will be coming back again early next year.
